380-400 MHz (Tetra) and 2 GHz (UMTS) exposure to humans and effects on cognitive function, brain activity, and feelings of well-being |
Details |
|
Human volunteers will be exposed to 380-400 MHz (Tetra) RF and analyzed for cognitive function performance, EEG, and assessment of well-being. The authors speculate that because of the lower carrier frequency (which may produce deeper RF energy penetration) and slower frame rate (17 Hz vs. 217 Hz of GSM), the potential biological effects of Tetra might be different than standard mobile phone technologies. End date June 2005. |
