900 MHz (GSM) exposure to rats and analysis of micronuclei formation in bone marrow cells |
Details |
|
Rats were exposed to 910 MHz (GSM) RF at 0.42 W/kg (whole body average) for 2 hours per day for 30 days. Exposure resulted in a 3x increase in micronucleus formation in polychromatic erythrocytes of males, and a smaller increase in MN was observed in females. The authors conclude that RF exposure should be considered "a noxious agent capable of producing genotoxic effects". |
