20 kHz IF (simulating VDUs) exposure to pregnant mice and analysis of teratogenic and developmental outcomes. |
Details |
|
CBA/S mice were exposed during pregnancy to a 20-kHz intermediate frequency field (with a sawtooth waveform) from gestational day 0-18 at a magnetic flux density of 15 microT (peak-to-peak). The authors report no effect on maternal or fetal body weights, number of corpora lutea, implantations, resorptions, dead and live fetuses, or external and skeletal malformations. There was also no effect on hematological and micronuclei endpoints from blood sampled on gestational day 18. |
