Volunteers occupationally exposed to 900 MHz (GSM) at levels below current limits, but higher than the general population, were assessed for DNA damage (by alkaline comet assay), chromosome aberrations, and SCE. The authors report no evidence of RF-induced effects. When isolated blood cells were exposed to RF + MMC, no synergistic effects were observed using either comet assay or SCE test |
