Model ELF exposure (occupational) and lymphoma and neurodegenerative disease in Germany
Details

Lymphoma cases (n = 170) were evaluated for various sources of occupational exposure. The authors do not report any association with ELF, but do report associations with workers in food products, beverages, tobacco, paper products, publishing and printing, and metals and among architects, maids, farmers, glass formers, and construction workers. The authors also have recent reports on malignant lymphoma and solvent exposure (J Occup Med Toxicol 2007 2:2) and sun exposure (Int J Cancer 2007 120(11):2445-51). In a related study, Alzheimers cases (n = 108) from Frankfurt Germany were evaluated for occupational exposure to ELF. The authors report no association.
