| Details | Cases of Alzheimer disease (n = 57) in Istanbul, Turkey were evaluated for occupational and environmental exposure history. The authors report exposure to occupational ELF correlated with AD (OR = 4.02; 95% CI 1.02-15.78). Use of electricity for residential heating also showed elevated risk (OR = 2.77, 95% CI 1.12-6.85). Having a University degree, in contrast, seemed to decrease the odds ratio. |
