Low frequency pulsed electromagnetic field exposure to diabetic patients and analysis of distal neuropathic pain |
Details |
|
Subjects with diabetic neuropathic pain in their feet (n = 225) were exposed to low frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields for 2 hr/day for 3 months. The authors report exposure decreased pain and increased epidermal nerve fiber density (increased fiber density correlates with decreased pain). |
