2450 MHz (CW) exposure to chemical solvents and analysis of heating profiles as compared with conventional heating sources |
Details |
|
Four different solvents were exposed to either microwave 2450 MHz, 130 watts constant power, 120 seconds) or conventional heat energy. The authors report identical heating profiles in terms of conversion, purity, and/or product yield and conclude the effects of microwave heating were exclusively thermal, no "non-thermal" effects were observed. |
