Arabidopsis thaliana was exposed to static magnetic fields at 50 microT, 500 microT, 1 milliT, and 100 milliT and analyzed for seedling growth. The authors report no effects on hypocotyl lengths, anthocyanin accumulation, or gene expression (CHS, HY5 and GST). They conclude they were unable to replicate prior observations of magnetic field effects. |
