Static magnetic field exposure to human volunteers and analysis of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) |
Details |
|
Human subjects (n = 14) were exposed using a 0.3 T static field magnet placed over the right front temporal region of the brain. The authors report significant increases in regional cerebral blood flow as measured by single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). The authors suggest this may represent a non-invasive method to increase blood flow in targeted areas. |
