2450 MHz exposure to Chinese hamsters and analysis of chromosome aberrations in blood lymphocytes |
Details |
|
Chinese hamsters exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) in a far-field exposure chamber 15 min/day for 5 consecutive days at power densities of 0, 5, 15, 30, or 45 mW/cm2 (whole body SAR of up to 21 W/kg). Rectal temperatures increased up to 1.6 degrees in the highest exposure group. No effects in chromosome aberrations in blood lymphocytes were observed between control and exposed groups. Long cell cultivation time following exposure may have caused variability in cytogenic damage to blood cells. |
