2450 MHz (CW) exposure to Salmonella typhymurium and analysis of mutation rate |
| Details |
|
Salmonella typhymurium (his -/-) were initiated with 4-nitroquinoline-N-oxide or 2-nitrofluorene and then exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) microwaves at 8 mW/cm2 for either 17 hours (during growth phase) or for 90 minutes (during mutagen phase) in a waveguide exposure system. No significant effects were reported after all the data were analyzed. |
