BalbC mice (fetal and pups) exposed to 36 GHz mm waves at a power density of 2 - 10 mW/cm2 for 2 months. Exposure did not affect litter survival, teratological endpoints, physical endurance of offspring, or DNA synthesis rate in 4-8 cell embryos. Exposure did, however, result in changes in AKP, ATPase, and 5'-Nase enzyme activities. Exposure finally correlated with a decrease in learning & memory ability and an increase in error rates in performance of memory tasks. |
